FUTURE AIR SYSTEM FOR EUROPEAN TACTICAL TRANSPORTATION 2
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: FASETT2 will carry out a concept study for a new military transport aircraft concept, targeting 20 tons payload (future midsize tactical cargo, FMTC).
The FASETT2 project proposal is the continuation of the FASETT project and represents a further step in the feasibility study and risk reduction of the aforementioned FMTC platform. The FMTC targets to become the European answer to the ageing fleet of mid-size range of transport and mission aircraft. It will provide a cost competitive and robust platform, while maximising the opportunities of a newly designed platform based on state-of-the-art technology and best use of innovations opportunities.
