The AI-Enabled Skill-Building for Tourism and Hospitality: Bridging the Industry-Academia Divide (BIAD) project aims to establish strong partnerships between higher education institutions, vocational education providers, and companies in the hospitality and tourism industry. The goal is to create sustainable and long-term relationships that support and promote equal access to learning opportunities, inclusive learning experiences, and sustainable development. Innovation and the design of flexible curricula that meet the needs and priorities of the industry are crucial for both the industry and academia, given the ongoing changes in the tourism and hospitality sector.
